Cancellation Policy for Pravinncabs

At Pravinncabs, we strive to provide flexible and customer-friendly cab rental services. Our Cancellation Policy is designed to ensure clarity and fairness for all bookings. Please review the details below to understand your options and responsibilities when cancelling a ride with Pravinncabs.

1. Cancellation Timeframes and Charges

We offer refunds based on when you cancel your booking relative to the scheduled pickup time. The following applies to all cab bookings unless otherwise specified:

  • More than 24 Hours Before Pickup:
    • Full refund of the paid amount, minus a 10% processing fee to cover administrative costs.
    • Example: If you paid ₹2,000, you’ll receive ₹1,800 back.
  • Within 24 Hours but More Than 2 Hours Before Pickup:
    • 50% of the base fare will be refunded. Additional charges (e.g., tolls, taxes) paid in advance, if any, will be fully refunded.
    • Example: For a ₹2,000 fare, you’ll receive ₹1,000 + any pre-paid extras.
  • Less Than 2 Hours Before Pickup or No-Show:
    • No refund will be provided. The full amount paid is non-refundable due to the commitment of resources (driver and vehicle).

2. How to Cancel a Booking

  • Online: Log into your Pravinncabs account on our website or app, go to “My Bookings,” and select “Cancel Ride.”
  • Helpline: Call our 24/7 customer support at +91 9994542699 and provide your booking ID.
  • Email: Send a cancellation request to support@pravinncabs.com with your booking details. Note that email cancellations are processed only during business hours and may not be effective for last-minute requests.

Cancellations are considered effective only when confirmed Pravinncabs via email or SMS.

3. Refund Process

  • Eligible Refunds: Refunds will be processed to your original payment method (e.g., card, UPI, or bank account) within 7-10 business days from the cancellation confirmation.
  • Non-Refundable Fees: Processing fees, advance driver allowances (if applicable), and third-party charges (e.g., payment gateway fees) are non-refundable.
  • Disputes: If you believe a refund was incorrectly processed, contact us within 48 hours of cancellation with your booking ID for review.

4. Special Circumstances

  • Driver or Vehicle Unavailability: If Pravinncabs cancels your ride due to unforeseen issues (e.g., vehicle breakdown, driver unavailability), you will receive a full refund or an option to reschedule at no extra cost.
  • Force Majeure: No refunds will be issued for cancellations caused events beyond our control, such as natural disasters, government restrictions, or strikes. However, we may offer a credit for future use at our discretion.
  • Customer Error: Cancellations due to incorrect pickup details or missed flights are subject to the standard policy above.

5. Modifications to Bookings

  • Time/Date Changes: Modifying your pickup time or date is free if requested more than 24 hours in advance, subject to availability. Within 24 hours, changes are treated as cancellations and re-bookings, with applicable fees.
  • Route Changes: Minor route adjustments (e.g., adding a stop) may incur extra charges but do not require cancellation. Significant changes (e.g., new destination) may be treated as a new booking.

6. Prepaid vs. Pay-on-Arrival Bookings

  • Prepaid Bookings: Refunds follow the timeframe rules above.
  • Pay-on-Arrival Bookings: No charges apply if cancelled more than 24 hours in advance. Within 24 hours, a cancellation fee of ₹200 may be charged to cover driver allocation costs.
